A multi-purpose stand for QuickBooks, which had to be visible across the whole of Excel for Accountex 2015, demonstrated to UK accountancy firms the tools and platforms they need to support and grow their clients. This also in turn gave QuickBooks further understanding of the specific opportunities and challenges their clients currently face.
Accountex is the UK’s largest accountancy show, which sees over 5,000 visitors and 180 exhibitors each year.
Our client, Planet Pursuits, asked us to fulfil a range of requirements across design and build, which included a space for a 50 delegate theatre, 8 product zones, as well as featuring partner apps and digital touch-points to drive engagement.
Our design integrated a theatre space for the 50 delegates, 8 demonstration pods and interactive touch points across the 12x20m stand. We also hosted space for 2 partners to demo their Apps, twitter walls and Internet networking, all of which drove delegate interaction across the stand.
We developed a key focal point, designing a canopy, flown over the stand and integrated Robe 600 LED lighting and curved rear video projection using two Panasonic DZ-13’s mapped and edge blended to deliver graphics and key information.
The touch-screen elements featured Samsung 65” displays with overlay and included a login area, giving users instant access to product information.
Over 90sqm of event graphics were designed, produced and applied throughout the stand, to deliver total brand exposure.
The theatre was designed with freedom in mind and incorporated perspex curved divides whilst still delivering privacy. Two 70” screens delivered content and an Outline speaker system provided even coverage across this area.
