Novotel London Canary Wharf officially opened on Wednesday, April 19 standing at 127 metres high and offering 360 degree views of the capital. Visitors can enjoy sites such as The Shard, Olympic Park and Greenwich Park from the top floors at Bokan 37 restaurant, 38 bar and 39 roof terrace.
Our client, Fay Campbell Events, briefed us to deliver an eye-catching activation at Canary Wharf Tube to raise awareness of the new hotel, which tied in with the official launch of the hotel taking place on the top floor at BOKAN 37 restaurant.
We worked with our client to create a bespoke structure, which complimented the surrounding area and drew attention to the up and coming launch.
The 8x4.2m structure had to represent the textures and finishes used in the new Hotel. A graffiti artist created a landscape view of London across the structure, which was installed as a graphic wrap.
We provided ambient lighting, audio over three floors including sound desks and speakers, along with sound engineer’s to support the official launch party where Vogue Williams took to the decks..
She was joined at the 39-storey skyscraper by Britain's Got Talent then semi-finalist, Tokio Myers, who also performed for the crowds and later went on to win the 2017 televised contest.
