An iconic activation for Virgin Media’s sponsorship of V Festival, one of Europe’s biggest music events across two locations, Chelmsford and Stafford.
For the sixth consecutive year we worked with our client ITCH Ltd to provide full production support across the two sites.
As part of Virgin Media’s long running sponsorship, ITCH wanted to super-charge the Our House stage
We worked with their team to produce a fresh, vibrant and club-like atmosphere through use of graffiti style graphics, which wrapped the temporary structure that was ‘Our House’ with one single piece of large format print.
This House was brought to life in the evening through use of pulsating LED tape to the lines and apertures of the structure, controlled by our Thor LED drivers.
From our purpose built DJ Booth, which incorporated Nexus 4x4 panels, we commissioned graphics that enabled us to manipulate and enhance the Virgin Media logo to the beat on the LED screens. Here, Mark Ronson performed an incredible set streamed live via the world wide web, reaching over a million music fans at home.
We used Hippotizer servers for video content, whilst lighting saw use of Robe Pointe’s, Robin 600’s, Robin 100 LED Beams and LED Phillips E-source batons all controlled by GrandMA on both sites.
Sound was mixed from the Yamaha CL5 through Outline’s Butterfly line array with DVS 18 subs and monitors from L’Acoustics.
Needless to say, Our House was pumping day and night.
