Generating an end-to-end engagement experience with the message ‘Spectrum Connected’ focusing on building and maintaining SAP investments.
In it’s second year the conference delivered briefings and workshops for over 500 customers and up to 1000 attendees. In addition to the speakers, there were over 100 breakout sessions looking at topics such as risk management and cybercrime.
We worked alongside our client, Corporate Rewards, to deliver full event production and design for a conference and mini-festival for over 500 delegates which also incorporating a re-brand launch.
Working the Corporate Reward’s team, we created an extremely detailed event, which included interaction across Birmingham’s ICC.
Working within the proscenium stage, a Cyclorama Canvas was back-lit using ETC Source 4 LED light engine with a CYC adaptor to deliver a full colour wash reflecting the brand identity. The video was delivered across four elements using 4 Panasonic DZ 21’s for the projection element and interspersed with 9mm LED panels to deliver depth and dimension.
The opening sting was played across all four elements, dividing into live relay screen and presentation window, whilst the LED panels showcased the brand and logos.
We built a 3D set-piece to represent the event logo which was video-mapped to bring alive the conference identity using an Arkaos stadium server. All moving lights were from the Robe Robin range.
For 2015, SUGFest was created to facilitate further networking opportunities. This was a brand new concept and like nothing ever seen before at the Conference.
The ICC was transformed inside and out into a playground of entertainment, food and drink with something on offer for everyone.
With architectural lighting applied to the ICC we also installed a custom-branded gobo’s projected onto the front of the building.
Experience zones were created around the space offering a live Jazz Lounge, Manford’s Comedy Club, Bier Keller, Casino and Cocktail Bars featuring theming and draping, bars and seating, rigging and trussing, sound, lighting, video and a main stage with a kabuki reveal.
Some of the equipment used: 120 Core Pointe Battery up-lighters, 24 Robe Pointes, 32 Robe 600 LED washes, Yamaha CL5 and Digico SD8, Outline Butterfly line array and 250m draping.
